In this latest article, Senior Lecturer in Drug and Alcohol Studies at the University of the West of Scotland and member of our board, Iain McPhee, discusses key factors to contributing high drug and alcohol death rates in Scotland. Through his discussions, McPhee highlights how stigma and discrimination towards substance use disorder plays a significant role in creating the national health crisis we are witnessing today.
